Car comes into the shop | |||

Everything is taken off of the car, chrome, windows, suspension, etc. It is loaded on a flatbed trailer and taken to the bead blaster | |

The paint is stripped off using soft foam beads, and the rusty areas are sandblasted so all the rust is removed. | |

After all the paint is removed, the customer comes in. We discuss the body and determine what panels to repair or replace. | |

Inspect | |||

|
The rear quarter panel and the rear inner fender had to be repaired. On this particular car, replacement pieces were not available so they were fabricated from sheet metal and pieces from another car. | |

Replace rusty panels | |||

|
The body is carefully examined. Old filler is removed, dents taken out and metal prepared for sealer. | |

The inside and outside of the body is completely sealed with an epoxy sealer. | |

Primer is put on over the top of the sealer. It is block sanded several times to insure a smooth finish. | |

Paint outside, inside, suspension, underneath, engine compartment | |||

The customer had all of the suspension powder coated on this particular car. We pressed in the bushings and installed the suspension. | |

All of the tracks and rollers were cleaned and lubricated and tinted windows were installed. | |
